Sirena Yachts has provided additional details on its latest superyacht project, the Sirena 118, at a press event held during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2024. The Turkish shipyard’s new 36-metre GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) yacht is the first in a new line of larger composite yachts, featuring a waterline length exceeding 24 metres and a gross tonnage of under 300GT.

Design work on the tri-deck yacht is ongoing, and completion is expected in 2026. It includes a large sun deck, an optional circular pool and lounging area at the bow, and a spacious beach club aft. Sirena’s signature plumb bow increases the hull volume, accommodating a VIP suite and up to four guest cabins on the lower deck.

The forward section of the main deck is dedicated to the owner’s stateroom, which has an option for a unique two-deck layout, connecting to a lower relaxation area and a fold-down swim platform via a spiral staircase.

The main deck offers an informal dining and lounging area with floor-to-ceiling windows, which are connected to the outdoor deck. Additional dining and a wet bar are located on the upper deck, which also has a private exterior area. Designed to be operated by a crew of five, the yacht’s accommodation can increase to seven with the addition of a captain’s cabin on the upper deck.

The Sirena 118’s underwater profile was designed by German Frers, while Sirena’s in-house team developed the exterior lines to embody the brand’s distinct style. Cor D Rover designed the yacht’s interior, providing a relaxed and timeless aesthetic, with options for owners to customise the space to suit their preferences.

Constructed with a fast-displacement hull form, the Sirena 118 is powered by two MAN V12 engines, delivering a combined 3,100hp for a top speed of 16 knots and an economical cruising speed of 11 knots. An alternative engine package, offering 3,800hp, allows for a maximum speed of 21 knots.

“The 36-metre Sirena 118 will be the largest GRP yacht we have built to date,” says Constantinos K. Constantinou, head of Sirena Yachts USA.

“This superyacht is being meticulously crafted to embody the pinnacle of the values that have driven the global success of Sirena Yachts and Sirena Superyachts.

“Intelligent design, flawless engineering, and sleek, modern aesthetics are seamlessly integrated with our profound passion for the yachting lifestyle. We’re excited to keep yachting enthusiasts informed as this exceptional project progresses toward its 2026 completion.”
