Benetti has appointed Daniela Petrozzi as its new sales director as it develops its commercial strategy.

Italian boatbuilder Benetti has appointed Daniela Petrozzi as its new sales director, effective 1 June 2024. In her new role, Petrozzi will report directly to Massimliano Casoni, Benetti’s general manager.

The firm says Petrozzi will continue to develop its commercial strategy with a view to consolidation and global growth.

With twenty years of experience at Benetti, Petrozzi has had a long career in the yachting industry.

Petrozzi’s appointment follows Sebastiano Fanizza’s resignation after six years as Benetti‘s chief commercial officer.

Benetti continues to develop its commercial strategy with a view to consolidation and global growth.

In a statement, Benetti says Petrozzi’s appointment as sales director is the “direct result of the group’s confidence in the technical, commercial and leadership skills” she has consolidated while “holding roles of increasing responsibility in different functional areas of the company.”

It adds that “the shipyard has always believed in the idea that the development of the people working in the company adds value,” and “this appointment confirms that belief.”
