Against the magnificent backdrop of the Cote d’Azur, the world of yachting is stepping into the new season of international events with the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Baglietto will once more be among the leading exhibitors, with the world premiere of Rush, the new 42-metre superfast planing motor yacht with both exteriors and interiors designed by Francesco Paszkowski, the latter in cooperation with Margherita Casprini.

As implied by her name, Baglietto’s new superstar is a real tribute to speed, performance and power.

But Rush also boasts a contemporary, aggressive and stylish look, from the original dark-grey shade of the hull to the wide glazed surfaces, a successful combination that results in a light and slender profile.

Baglietto will also welcome its guests in an entirely renovated lounge area.

Stage after stage, throughout the exciting season of yachting events, Baglietto will be accompanied by two exceptional partners.

Maui Jim and San Benedetto share the boatbuilder’s strong focus on innovation and the environment, in addition to another important common denominator: water.

“Although we never miss the September boat shows, every edition comes with the thrill of an exciting debut”, said Baglietto SpA’s CCO, Fabio Ermetto.

“This year, in particular, we are introducing two world premieres that clearly express where our shipyard currently stands, while in Monaco we will be presenting a new revolutionary project bound to represent Baglietto’s future top of the range.

“This has been an extremely intense year for us, with as many as 21 yachts currently under construction in the two sites of La Spezia and Carrara, 18 of which have already been sold, and an order portfolio exceeding €300 million.

“We have opened two new representative offices in Australia and Brazil and consolidated our sales offices in the USA, and we are also investing hugely in environmental sustainability and alternative energy sources with our project Bzero, which will soon come to life with an operating prototype at our shipyard.

“All of the above, of course, without ever forgetting the value of our heritage, through the recovery of our historical archive and the project of the Nautical Micro Museum, which will soon be paying tribute to our history and add even more prestige to our brand.”
