Aluminium RIB specialist Highfield Boats has added two new models to its advanced Sport range – the new Sport 560 (SP560) and Sport 800 (SP800).

Established in 2011, Highfield Boats has developed into a worldwide boatbuilder with a complete line of rigid-inflatable hull boats (RIBs).

Highfield now offers small tenders from 2.4 metres all the way up to 9-metre heavy-duty RIBs.

Both of the shipyard’s new models are being displayed at various autumn 2023 shows, showing off their cutting-edge styling and performance capability.

Highfield says the new 5.7-metre Sport 560 is based on its predecessor’s hull form, while boasting a sleek look that will turn heads, including a newly designed A-frame and carbon console, plus a host of onboard features to provide a smooth ride and a comfortable watersports platform for a family day out.

The 8.1-metre Sport 800, meanwhile, echoes the detailing of Highfield’s flagship Sport 900, but at a size that can easily be towed or launched from a dry stack.

The Sport 800 demonstrates impressive sea-keeping abilities with luxurious touches, including generous seating for family and friends, with various configurations.

The easily accessible bathing platform and massive entertainment area, plus space for an under-console toilet, make the Sport 800 a natural choice for a great day on the water.

The added reassurance of a proven offshore hull design can let owners explore far and wide in a range of conditions.

Both models are presented with details including brushed foam teak flooring throughout to provide barefoot comfort, while diamond-stitched upholstery finishes off the interior.

Highfield’s aluminium hulls are impermeable, so there’s no chipping of gel coat or worries about bringing the boat up a beach or onto a trailer.

The shipyard offers a large list of standard features, including the platform ladder and the Sport 800’s fridge-table and shower kit, plus practical considerations such as the lifting points and towing eyes and newly styled optional roll-bar on both models.

“We are proud of both these new models in the Sport range, which have moved into the future of onboard styling and with a packed choice of features for comfort,” says Mathilde Delfour, Managing Director of Europe for Highfield Boats.

“Combined with the all-weather hull design, the SP560 and SP800 both provide a versatile ride for crunching the miles and a great living space at anchor.”
