In the wake of the 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, ILIAD Catamarans have considered the event a stunning success.

ILIAD Catamarans has announced that, following their Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) exhibition, they have firmly set their position “as a major new presence on the world’s power catamaran market”, according to a supplied press release.

Justifying this position is how the brand saw six contracts signed during the four-day event, seeing orders for three ILIAD 50s, one ILIAD 60, one ILIAD 70 and one for the upcoming ILIAD 50 S – the latter currently expected to be delivered in Australia in mid-2022.

ILIAD Catamarans also stated the success of their exhibition was confirmed by the additional orders currently in the process of being finalised post-event, and the strong enthusiasm for the ILIAD 80 that followed its unveiling during the boat show.

“Since our 2019 launch, the range has been embraced with overwhelming enthusiasm by motor yacht buyers from all over the world,” said CEO Mark Elkington on the exciting, but not unexpected, attention at this year’s SCIBS.

“It’s immensely satisfying to see our goal of creating long-range, luxurious, spacious and customisable power catamarans effectively meeting the needs of so many clients,” he added.

“We are also delighted to have some of our earliest clients return to purchase another ILIAD Catamaran, which is a rewarding testament to the quality of the range.”

Founded in 2019, ILIAD Catamarans is an Australian manufacturer of long-range power catamarans. Their shipyard is based in the Xinlong Yachts shipyard, located in Zhanjiang, People’s Republic of China.
