Riva’s new 50 metre superyacht makes its debut in the world.

The first flagship of the Riva Superyachts Division debuted during an exclusive event at the historic Arsenale of Venice.

It is called Race and is 50 metres long for a beam of 9 metres. It is the first model of the Riva Superyachts Division.

Majestic and elegant, Race harkens back to the famous M/ Y Caravelle and Atlantic, the large steel yachts built between the 60s and 70s by the company’s visionary founder Carlo Riva. The first of Riva 50 metre superyachts has fascinated the public with its unparalleled standards of aesthetics, style and innovation. Ship owners from all over the world took part in a magnificent evening opened by a dinner by organised by Massimo Bottura, followed by a gala reception culminating in Race’s unveiling.

“The largest Riva, the dream of Carlo Riva that came true, a boat of immense beauty, could only make its debut at the Arsenale, which has been for centuries the largest naval factory in the world,” commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group.

The latest Riva combines the ‘Made in Italy’ aesthetic with the unmistakable personality of the brand: the wider volumes of the hull are combined with a clean and elegant profile. Comfort, style, attention to detail and the application of the most advanced technological solutions offer an unparalleled navigation experience. Race is the result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, who exclusively designs the entire Riva range, and the engineering team dedicated to designing the new Riva superyachts with the Ferretti Group Product Strategic Committee.

On the occasion of the worldwide première, Ferretti Group collaborated with international luxury brands. Among the main partners for the event: Emirates exhibited the Airbus A380 First Class Suite at the Arsenale and Jaguar Land Rover, which started its partnership with Ferretti Group by exhibiting some of its magnificent cars.
