Brabus Marine has revealed its latest model, the Brabus Shadow 1200 Sun-Top Phantom Grey signature edition, the latest addition to its biggest and most powerful range of 45-foot boats.

The boat manufacturer, an alliance between Finnish boatbuilder Axopar Boats and German mobility brand Brabus, revealed the new model at a world premier event in Port Calanova, Mallorca, in April.

The Brabus Shadow 1200 Sun-Top Phantom Grey joins the Cross Cabin version launched at Boot Düsseldorf 2024.

Equipped with triple 400 HP Mercury Racing 5.7l V10 engines producing a combined output of 1,200 horsepower, the newest model is the most powerful of all Brabus Shadows, flying across the water at a cruising speed of 40 knots and top speeds of 55 knots.

The Brabus Shadow Sun-Top is designed to fuse the thrill of open-air boating with comfort and shelter from the elements, with the dual electric sunroof above the helm area connecting seamlessly with the outdoors.

At the helm, this power is harnessed in a clean, functional, and uncluttered cockpit that is packed with modern marine technology – ranging from the Intelligent Steering Module that controls the bow thruster, trim tabs and audio to the Simrad navigational touchscreen displays and optional extended navigation package.

Mercury’s JPO (Joystick Piloting for Outboards) joystick steering enhances the driving experience. This feature includes Skyhook and Mercury autopilot features, as well as reverse and night vision cameras.

The Brabus Shadow 1200 combines performance with generous social spaces: the foredeck and the front lounge with the gullwing doors, the helm and cockpit area with large seating space around a centred wet bar, foldable balcony doors and various optional aft deck layouts to choose from.

The social areas offer space for up to two wet bars—one in the centre of the boat and another optionally integrated into the fender box in the back of the boat.

An extra-wide sofa wraps around the cockpit wet bar, with a large dining area and the option for a u-sofa or an aft cabin on the aft deck, adding extra space for guests.

The onboard experience is enhanced with features including premium JL audio systems and dimmable LED illuminated balcony doors, a carbon LED roof light module, underwater and deck lighting as well as optional full RGB lighting throughout the entire boat. The interior decor features details such as carbon fibre accents and bespoke leather upholstery.

The new Brabus Shadow 1200 Sun-Top Phantom Grey signature edition, inspired by the Brabus Crawler, has a dark, ‘Phantom Grey’ paint job with upholstery colours in ‘Brabus Red’. It also features a bespoke outfitting package featuring red roof racks, waterski frames, and roof pillars.

Brabus says this special edition is hand-built, with the process of fairing, painting and polishing alone taking up to six weeks.

Inside, the front cabin and optional aft accommodation also have distinctive carbon fibre detailing and fine leather options with Brabus piping and stitching, all stamped with the Brabus Sign of Excellence–the yard’s guarantee of craftsmanship and quality.
