A new unit in the Maiora 30 series has hit the water at the Next Yacht Group’s facilities in Viareggio, Italy.

Next Yacht Group describes Maiora as its brand of “high liveability” flybridge yachts that offer a “structural modular” system. This system allows owners to configure the boat to their specific needs, making the most of the onboard spaces and ad-hoc functional solutions to meet their wishes.

At 30.5 metres in length, with a beam of 7.5 metres and lofty interdeck heights, the Maiora 30 features the largest surfaces and volumes in its category, according to Next Yacht Group.

These volumes contribute to the sensation of being on a much larger yacht once on board.

This new Maiora 30 model is in the “walkaround” version, allowing guests to easily move around the entire flybridge, from bow to stern, thanks to spacious outdoor areas and side walkways free of any structural impediments.

The breezy flybridge extends over approximately 120 square metres and is one of the yacht’s focal points.

Another distinctive feature is the stern; a “terrace” overlooking the sea, connected to the salon by a door that can open in infinity mode to create one single, uninterrupted open space.

A few steps lead to the large beach deck and sunbathing area. Meanwhile, the side garage has a height over 2 metres and can fit a tender over 6 metres long, alongside an array of water toys.

At the bow is an additional garage to store a jet ski (which can be lowered into the sea using a hidden davit) and a nearly 2-metre-high peak with dual access, to store away all nautical equipment, removing impediments on the exterior decks.

Two MAN 12V 2000, 2000 Hp engines offer a maximum speed of 23 knots, while zero-speed stabilisers—operating both when cruising and at anchor—improve stability and onboard comfort.

The saloon on the main deck is designed as a loft space, featuring furniture and furnishings from the latest collections of several Italian luxury brands. It is directly connected to the aft cockpit, creating an open space with natural light on all sides.

The master stateroom, located forward, has an almost full-beam bathroom and is designed to offer all the space needed to feel at home, even during long-range cruises. A day-head and a galley complete the main deck.

This is an RPH model that has a raised pilot house.

The Next Yacht Group’s quay in Viareggio is now showcasing the AB100, the AB80, which is ready to leave, and this new Maiora 30, which will leave soon for cruising in the Mediterranean with its owner onboard.
