Fjord is adding the Fjord 480 to its model range. The new Fjord 480 weekender, designed in collaboration with yacht designer Marco Casali of Too Design, will be available in an inboard and an outboard version.

The 480 Open is optionally powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 800 engines with a top speed of up to 34 knots, while the 480 Sport is powered by three Mercury Verado V12 outboards with a total of 1,800 hp, enabling a top speed of up to 45 knots.

The 14.6-metre 480 features folding side balconies for greater access to the water – a first for Fjord. The large T-top provides shade, and the deck dimensions and walkaround design ensure freedom of movement.

There are large sun loungers aft and on the foredeck, while the galley in the cockpit features a wide range of equipment options and is designed for catering to guests on board.

The Fjord 480 Sport offers storage space under the sun lounger, with room for water sports equipment such as stand-up paddleboards or diving gear. Below deck, owners can choose between various layout options depending on preference.

Options include a saloon with a cosy seating area in the fore cabin and a double cabin, or two double cabins instead and up to two bathrooms.

Optional additional bulkheads and doors ensure even privacy on board. Fjord says the new 480 combines performance, comfort and design.

Fjord, which has Norwegian origins and is owned by German yacht manufacturer HanseYachts, says the 480 Open and 480 Sport will be officially presented in the second half of 2024.
