Ocean Alliance has been appointed worldwide MYBA Central Agent for M/Y Aurora.

Aurora is a 25.76-metre Moonen launched in 2004 and extensively refitted in 2016.  Available for private charter on the east coast of Australia for up to eight guests, Ocean Alliance is presenting this yacht as a perfect option for families. She is also available for corporate charter in Sydney Harbour for up to 36 guests.

“We are excited to have another yacht added to our fleet.  As interest in Australia as a yachting destination increases so too are the yacht options for our clients.  Aurora is distinguished by her classic lines and solid construction.  He crew offer exemplary service and the yacht is accompanied by family-friendly toys.  We expect many charter clients will experience the comfort of this Dutch built yacht in the coming season,” stated Joachim Howard, Managing Director of Ocean Alliance.

Aurora has an Owner’s Stateroom, VIP Suite each with their own en suite, and two twin cabins.  The main deck houses a large saloon with panoramic views, formal and casual al fresco dining plus sun lounges on the foredeck.  The flybridge is accessed from the rear deck and offers covered and exposed sun lounges as well as a gourmet grill, bar and more casual dining.

Heading up the Charter Experience division is Laurie Foulon, who draws on her European yachting experience to deliver charters in the Southern Hemisphere.

“Australia is a vast destination for the intrepid who wish to discover some of the most pristine and unpolluted marine environments.  Yachts such as Aurora are perfect for this type of cruising.  Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure makes this superyacht not unlike a small ship.  Her interior is finished with cherry wood and there is ample room both inside and on deck for recreation and entertainment,” continued Ms Foulon.

“The Owner was very interested in placing Aurora in to Australian Domestic / Commercial survey to capture the charter market.

Once we had gone through this process, Ocean Alliance was selected as the Charter brokers, we felt they best understood Aurora’s capability and what she can offer to her clients,”explained Captain Joshua Wright.

Ocean Alliance is a Sydney-based superyacht brokerage which represent 13 yachts as MYBA Central Agents.  Additionally, they offer clients yacht marketing, charter management services as well as advice on fiscal and operational management of yachts in Australia.  Aurora is the third yacht in the last six months to have selected Ocean Alliance as their Central Agent and the market should expect more such announcements in the future.

“We are one of a handful of MYBA accredited agents in Australia and have set ourselves the target of providing the best service, advice and experience for our yacht owners and charter clients.  We believe we are on the cusp of the Australian decade of yachting and as such, Ocean Alliance is well positioned to guide Owners and international guests on this emerging destination,” stated Mr Howard.
