After two years of boat show cancellations due to the pandemic, Multihull Solutions is set for a show-stopping display at the 2022 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), with three exclusive Asia Pacific launches.

The company will premiere the NEEL 43 trimaran, Fountaine Pajot’s Isla 40 sailing catamaran and the MY4.S by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts for the first time in the Asia-Pacific region, alongside the ILIAD 50.

There has already been a steady stream of appointments booked to inspect the models, with cruising enthusiasts getting the chance to explore the range.

The NEE 43 on display at the show is the first to arrive in Australia and available for immediate sale. Industry accolades have flowed since the NEEL 43’s launch. It has received nominations for three awards in 2022: Multihull of the Year, European Yacht of the Year and the British Yacht Awards.

The tri has a huge range of features, with a loft-style interior and sleek, contemporary styling. Combined with a robust construction that utilises eco-sustainable products and processes, the NEEL 43 is fast yet stable.

The Fountaine Pajot’s Isla 40 sailing catamaran sets a new reference for multihulls in the 40-foot range. Having a sail-to-weight ratio of 10.3, the 12-metre catamaran features reversed bows, a saloon and four double cabins.

Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts’ new MY4.S will also be launched – it has just arrived in Australia and is available for immediate sale.

The saloon features a sunroof and opens onto the alfresco cockpit. A large master suite, dedicated sunbathing area and rear platform are also featured. MY4.S can reach speeds of up to 22 knots.

The ILIAD 50 promises popularity this year. Since 2019, ILIAD has already sold 14 models to Australian buyers. The ILIAD 50 on display at SCIBS is the latest model that features a host of upgrades.

Multihull Solutions will also have specialists at the show to assist with all inquiries, including for the range of pre-owned power and sail catamarans for sale at its adjacent Gold Coast Sales Centre at The Boat Works.

Sister company, The Yacht Sales Co., will also be unveiling two of Dufour Yachts’ latest models at the show, the Dufour 470 and Dufour 530.

Company Manager Bob Vinks says appointments to inspect the yachts are already filling up.

Available in three versions, the Dufour 470 model on display at Sanctuary Cove will be the Ocean version. The sheets are positioned on the coamings and the halyard and mainsail trolley handlings near the helm station. However, the yacht is also available in an Easy and Performance version.

Dufour Yachts has an exceptional reputation throughout the world, and this new model has captured the attention of buyers as it delivers stunning design and superb performance in one perfect package,” says Bob Vinks.

The Dufour 530 will also be on display, which won the Sail magazine 2021 Best Boat Award in the category of Best Large Monohull 50 Feet and Above.

The Dufour 530 is loaded with innovations, including three different manoeuvring layouts, a cockpit with all-new features, a revolutionary bimini concept and beautiful aesthetics.
