Royal Huisman has announced the appointment of Mr. Jan Timmerman as CEO commencing 1 August 2018.
Jan Timmerman has a longstanding and successful track record as Managing Director and President of international businesses in the fields of Premium Coated Aluminum and Lighting Solutions supplying both high-end architectural projects as well as Original Equipment Manufacturers.
Managing Director Jan Willem Doeksen, welcomed Timmerman to the company.
“We are very pleased to get such an experienced, international and qualified CEO onboard”.
Mr. Timmerman has worked and lived with his family abroad for many years in the United States, Mexico and in China.

Jan Timmerman spoke on his recent appointment.

Alongside Jan Timmerman, the management team of Royal Huisman will consist of Jaap Gelling (Technical Director) and Harmen Peters (Financial Director).
Meanwhile, there are various exciting projects under development at Royal Huisman, including The Dykstra Naval Architects and Mark Whiteley designed 81-metre contemporary schooner, Project Phi, the fast displacement 55-metre yacht, and a refit of Vagrant, the legendary Herreshoff designed schooner launched in 1913.
