Situated on The Spit at Main Beach on Queensland’s Gold Coast, The Mantaray Marina and Residences is the visionary development of project partners Tim Gordon, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Gordon Corp, and pub baron Bruce Mathieson.

It also represents the first development on the famous peninsula since Palazzo Versace and Sheraton Mirage more than two decades ago, and the first major project to be delivered under the State Government’s Spit Master Plan.

Gordon Corp CEO Tim Gordon said the $300-million mixed-use development would unlock private investment and attract national and international visitors to the Gold Coast.

“The Mantaray Marina and Residences will supercharge Queensland’s superyacht tourism sector and deliver new residential, retail and marina offerings within The Spit’s designated village centre,” he said.

“The precinct has been designed as a world-class on-water experience, with a 67-berth superyacht marina, retail plaza and high-street promenade, and a collection of 24 ultra-luxe residences.

“To live on The Spit is incredibly rare – residents will have access to unrivalled private amenities including an exclusive on-water members-only lounge in the heart of the superyacht marina, a health and wellness club, a resort-style pool and premium concierge service.”

The Mantaray Marina and Residences is being brought to life by Tier-1 contractor Multiplex, and construction will commence following final approvals from the state government. Based on the current program, the project is scheduled for completion in 2026, generating more than 200 jobs throughout construction.

Gordon Corp was awarded the state government tender to acquire and develop the 9,858-square-metre greenfield site at 503 Seaworld Drive into a world-class superyacht destination, residential precinct and activated retail plaza.

Tim Gordon said the Queensland Government’s vision for the site, and The Spit Master Plan as a whole, was to be commended. “More than $1 billion in private sector investment has been committed at The Spit since the master-planning process was finalised, triggering an extraordinary transformation. We’re excited to be at the forefront of this.”

The Rothelowman-designed residences include a collection of 24 two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, villas, and penthouses. Three-bedroom residences start from $8.5 million, roof terrace residences start from $12.5 million, and the penthouse collection starts from $14.4 million.

The sales display is open by private appointment only.
