Turkish shipyard Mazu Yachts has revealed its latest addition to the Mazu Yachts Displacement series, the 40-metre 132DS, set to lead the line of the 112DS and 92DS sister models.
Made of steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Mazu 132DS is powered with a VOLVO Penta IPS 40 propulsion system, thus achieving improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and exceptional manoeuvrability.
She is expected to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots.
The Mazu 132DS features exterior and interior design by RED Yacht Design, while naval architecture is conducted by Profjord.
Designed to shake the stereotypes of yachts of her category, the Mazu 132DS boasts full-length glass throughout her structure with an underwater viewing deck, a flybridge exterior area of more than 150 square metres, and a panoramic private owner’s terrace.
Vast lounge areas throughout the model’s four decks include a voluminous beach club fitted with lateral opening wings, a dip pool on the sun deck, an L-shaped sofa seating, a bar and an alfresco 10-person dining table.
The Mazu 132DS is currently in engineering development and is set to begin construction in 2024.
