Nestled on its pristine shores, Nikoi Private Island continues to set the benchmark for bespoke island getaways with the introduction of two newly renovated three-bedroom pool villas. Tailored to meet the growing demand for multigenerational travel, these accommodations artfully combine the essence of tropical simplicity with the indulgent comforts of modern luxury.
The expansion, thoughtfully designed for larger family groups and gatherings, marks a new chapter for this celebrated private island retreat, just a short hop from Singapore.
Perched along the island’s dazzling beachfront, the new three-bedroom villas offer the perfect balance of communal spaces and secluded hideaways.
The main cottage, a striking two-storey structure, features a master suite with a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and a balcony that opens to uninterrupted views of the turquoise sea. Below, a shaded deck with plush seating and a guest bathroom extends an invitation to relax amidst the gentle sea breeze.
Adjacent to the main cottage, two standalone cottages provide additional ensuite bedrooms that can be configured as doubles or singles, ensuring flexibility for a variety of guest configurations.
Between these charming dwellings lies a private pool, its shimmering waters framed by a lawn, a traditional Indonesian bale (gazebo), and sun loungers that seem to beckon lazy afternoons beneath the tropical sun.
These villas, which comfortably sleep six and can accommodate up to nine for an additional charge, are ideal for multigenerational families or groups seeking a shared experience without compromising on personal space.
“Our vision for these villas was inspired by the multigenerational families who return to Nikoi year after year,” explains Andrew Dixon, Singapore-based Australian co-owner of Nikoi Private Island and its adults-only sister property, Cempedak Private Island.
“Time and again, we’ve welcomed grandparents, siblings, and children who have travelled from across the globe to reunite here. These new villas are designed to enrich those gatherings, offering a space where family bonds are deepened against the backdrop of Nikoi’s natural beauty.”
Nikoi’s commitment to environmental harmony and cultural authenticity is evident in every detail. The new villas join the island’s collection of 16 beach houses and villas, all crafted using driftwood, alang alang roofing, and traditional Indonesian techniques to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. Each structure reflects a careful balance of contemporary design and ecological mindfulness, ensuring guests can connect with nature without sacrificing comfort.
The first of the three-bedroom villas welcomed its first guests 30 October 2024, with the second set to open on 7 January 2025.
With its reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s most exclusive private island retreats, Nikoi offers more than just luxury accommodation—it provides a timeless escape where families and groups can forge cherished memories in one of the world’s most idyllic settings.
