Italian yard Invictus has unveiled a new, outboard version of the stylish TT420 model, which debuted at boot Düsseldorf just a year ago.

The TT420S makes its world debut during the upcoming boot Düsseldorf show, which runs from 20 to 28 January 2024. While the TT420 offers inboard-outboard propulsion with two Volvo Penta D6 engines with 440 HP each, for the new TT420S, Invictus has opted for a configuration with triple Yamaha outboard engines while retaining the same silhouette as its predecessor. This configuration is made possible by eliminating the central section of the swim platform.

The taut lines of this 42-footer, designed by Christian Grande, combine style and attention to performance. The profile of Invictus TT420S, incorporating the stylistic features of its older sibling TT460 is characterised by the windshield, which blends into the carbon hardtop to help streamline the model’s mass.

The integral glass windshield with wipers, in particular, represents an unusual solution on this size of boat and protects during navigation. At the same time, a front opening system ensures effective air circulation when at anchor.

The space previously occupied by the inboard-outboard engines has been converted into a practical storage area for toys. However, the actual garage remains capable of accommodating a 2.1-metre tender.

The deck, characterised along its entire length by a perimeter walkway protected by high bulwarks, has a large bow sundeck that can be converted into a chaise longue, ideal for comfortably enjoying the cruise.

Amidships, folding tables allow the spacious dinette to be converted into a large space for relaxation, sheltered by the hard top.

At the same height, the sides can be equipped with two optional collapsible side terraces, which increase the living space on board.

These terraces also offer a perception of openness towards the outside that breaks down the barrier dividing the boat from the surrounding environment.

Internally, Christian Grande has opted for an open-space solution. Upon entering, the spacious living area is on full display, with U-shaped rotating sofas, which can transform into a double bed.

Aft is a cabin with separate beds. The generous bulwarks have made it possible to obtain remarkable internal heights, which have been used for a large bathroom with a separate shower.

The first Invictus TT420S, which will appear in Düsseldorf, is in the exclusive Vogue White colour. The yard says this “unprecedented” shade of neutral helps to enhance the details and colours on board, which are all distinctive elements of Invictus.
