Bawah Reserve is one of Indonesia’s most exclusive resorts, comprising six islands to be developed.

Designed as an owner’s residence with a small village to accommodate family and friends, Elang offers an island experience for travellers seeking privacy. Elang features six cliffside lodges each with personal butler service. Elang Private Residence can be booked as a single lodge stay or a full island experience.

Mirroring Bawah Reserve’s rustic-luxe style, the lodges on Elang are constructed using products like bamboo, driftwood, glass and hand-cut stone.

The lodges feature six-metre high ceilings, separate living areas, balconies and stunning ocean views that are sure to have guests wanting to stay forever.

Each lodge has been carefully positioned to offer both privacy and views of the sea and lagoons.

Elang also offers a guest-only Clubhouse with dining room and bar, the Beach House restaurant, salt water infinity pool with slide and Kayu Spa.

In addition, guests are free to enjoy the restaurants and amenities of Bawah’s main island, located just three minutes away by boat. Elang Residence guests can visit Bawah, but guests on Bawah cannot visit Elang. This showcases the level exclusivity and privacy guests will experience on Elang.

Inspired by tribal communal houses in Indonesia, the guest-only Clubhouse provides a gathering space with a two-storey open-air dining room, an ocean view bar and a saltwater infinity pool that was formed from a natural hollow.

The Kayu Spa is in a restored joglo, a traditional Javanese house. The restored joglo was gifted to the owner and sent on a barge to be reused on Elang, further promoting the eco-aware design without compromising on luxury.

Prices start from $1,780 USD per night and is inclusive of all meals, private butler service, non-alcoholic beverages, yoga, pilates and meditation classes, one spa treatment per person per night, non-motorised water activities, laundry service and wifi. Elang will open in May 2020.
