Globalfast launched

Australia-based Silver Yachts launches the 85.3-metre Explorer vessel Globalfast.

Project Globalfast was launched on 3 September 2022, the second yacht from the all-aluminium Silver World Series from Silver Yachts.

Following the famous M/Y BOLD, she also features internationally renowned naval architect and designer Espen Øino’s eye-catching exterior design in a contrasting monochromatic finish.

The Explorer Series features a highly efficient hull from with top speeds of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots.

The layout has been optimised and the interior styled to reflect the client’s taste, accommodating up to 18 guests between seven cabins, which are mostly located on the main deck.

The master suite is located on the owner’s deck and has a winter garden, outdoor lounge and alfresco dining area. The Explorer also features a hot tub and sunlounges on the sundeck, as well as storage for tenders and water toys.

Like M/Y BOLD, she features a 24/7 commercial helipad, hangar and refuelling facilities, as well as the large multifunctional aft deck with an 8-tonne crane.

Silver Yachts, located in Fremantle in Western Australia, builds custom, high performance and efficient aluminium vessels.

Built in 2005, Silver Yachts’ state-of-the-art shipyard facilities cover over 6,000 square metres and are home to two building halls, a fit-out hall, an interiors division, design offices and workshop spaces, including an on-site 8065-tonne lift.

Project Globalfast is scheduled for handover on 28 October 2022.
