This compact 26-metre expedition vessel was sold in May 2016 to a returning customer from Turkey, his fourth Numarine boat to date. The 26XP was then launched in February 2018 and underwent extensive and highly successful sea trials ahead of the delivery.

“Our latest new yacht launched is the 26XP”, said Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine. “The hull #1 has been delivered to its owner with an impressive max speed over 28 knots in the semi-planing hull option with MAN 1550hp engines and class leading noise and vibration control giving below 35dBA in cabins at anchor with generator running”.

Numarine’s long-term collaborator Can Yalman designed the 26XP’s exterior and interior. Naval architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini. She is very modern due to angular windows and a vertical bow, and carries the DNA of a larger model, the 32XP. Designed to offer the same capabilities of her longer sisters, the 26XP’s smaller draft allows her to berth in shallow harbours. The yacht has a well-proven and efficient hull, especially designed for ocean cruising.

The first very efficient, semi-planing 26XP unit is equipped with a pair of MAN 1550 hp engines. The superyacht achieves a maximum speed of 28 knots, with a cruising speed of 18 knots.

One of the key features of the 26XP is a special flybridge. It covers about two thirds of the hull’s length.

To ensure the maximum level of comfort on board the 26XP, Numarine took great care in eliminating or reducing all sources of noise and vibration.

While the premiere 26XP has a semi-planing hull, the other three units of the series, which will be launched by the end of 2018, will be displacement versions. The displacement yacht’s maximum speed will be 11.5 knots, and a cruising speed is 9 knots. Moreover, it offers greater fuel autonomy, up to 3,500 nm at 8 knots. This design concept flexibility is another big advantage for the 26XP.

“Hull #2 will be soon launched in her full displacement version specially designed for its owner”, comments Omer Malaz. “She will have our “silent package” with a lithium Ion battery system allowing all necessary onboard systems including air-conditioning to run without generators for up to 12 hours, silence onboard to enjoy the most beautiful island bays or to sleep peacefully while being rocked by the sea.”
