Italian shipyard Rossinavi has delivered its first hybrid superyacht, the 49.9-metre No Stress Two.

The full-aluminium motor yacht is Rossinavi’s ninth collaboration with Venice-based studio Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, which penned the exterior architecture and interior design. Naval architecture comes from the desk of Giuseppe Arrabito at Arrabito Naval Architect.

First launched in April 2023 at Rossinavi’s Viareggio facility, No Stress Two is a sporty yacht with a fast-displacement hull. The vessel has a double power system – two MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines and two electric motors powered by both the generators and the battery pack. It has five operational modes and can reach a top speed of 20 knots.

When in electric mode, the system is managed by an AI that monitors its consumption and manages efficiency, theoretically eliminating any stress caused by the range anxiety associated with electric propulsion.

No Stress Two is a hybrid vessel characterised by a strong sporty attitude,” says Federico Rossi, chief operating officer of Rossinavi. “It is a high-performance super yacht with dual fuel: diesel and battery.

“Artificial intelligence allows you to enjoy the electric experience on board to the fullest. This is only the beginning, as this technology will be optimised next year, revealing its fullest expression with the launch of the Sea Cat.”

Rossinavi’s highly anticipated solar-powered Sea Cat concept, revealed during Miami Design Week in 2021, is now under construction and is the shipyard’s first multihull project.

A BluE build

No Stress Two is the first vessel to be delivered under the shipyard’s BluE initiative, which the company uses to designate its more environmentally friendly propulsion technology. “We’re very proud to launch our very first BluE project,” adds Rossi.

One of the flagship features of this yacht is undoubtedly the open beach club. At the owner’s request, a DJ station with a screen overlooking the beach club has been installed on the aft cockpit, converting the vessel into a luxurious disco on the water.

At the bow is a walking space surrounding the pool, which has a surface area of approximately 10 square metres. “Dynamic lines for this sporty superyacht,” says Enrico Gobbi, founder of Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design.

“I wanted the boat to be in motion even when it’s at anchor, combining long curves always in tension and streamlined bridges that recall the wings of a jet.

No Stress Two is a grand coupe of the sea, in which automotive details characterised the design of the exterior and interior. Essential, elegant interiors in which the simplicity of the lines is emphasised by the refinement of details and alignments, a purism of lines and surfaces, combined with natural and prestigious materials.”

The high-performance motor yacht was commissioned by a private client who briefed Rossinavi and Gobbi’s team to achieve spacious interior spaces that would organically blend in with the outdoor areas, thanks to the openings on both the hull and superstructure, as well as the continuous floor-to-ceiling glass windows. This allows for a panoramic view of the sea from each area of the vessel while in navigation.

“The study of the hull openings and the superstructure was fundamental to have a yacht with sporty lines without compromises, giving the interiors the maximum landscape view,” says Gobbi.
