The Boat Works unveils plans to double the size of its Superyacht Yard with a $30-million investment in new sheds, hardstand, haul-out machine and a bespoke Commercial Centre.

The Boat Works is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality marine infrastructure, which in turn attracts more boats and creates jobs.
Continuing the momentum, the Longhurst family will add further investment into the marine precinct with major construction comprising the addition of 50 percent more sheds and hardstand to the now three-year-old Superyacht Yard.
With foundations piled and concrete being poured, completion is scheduled for the end of 2023.
2023 kicked off with the construction of three new workshops, now completed and have welcomed new marine professionals to add to the existing 80 on-site partners across The Boat Works’ two adjoining facilities covering a total area of 55 acres.
Stage 5 will involve an additional $30-million investment in more sheds and hardstand space along with a new haul-out machine joining the current fleet of five.
Construction has started on a bespoke, two-storey Commercial Centre on the waterfront (adjacent Kokomo Kitchen & Bar), which will provide offices and showrooms for new marine service providers and yacht sales businesses.

The one-of-a-kind Commercial Centre has been purpose-designed and will complement the VIP Captains’ Lounge.
