Superyacht builder Dynamiq has launched its superyacht refit operations in the south of Türkiye.
Monaco-based Dynamiq says its facility in Antalya signals a new chapter in bespoke yacht refitting services in the Antalya Free Zone, a designated low-tax zone.
Dynamiq can now accommodate superyachts up to 65 metres (215 feet) for bespoke refits and conversions, with a 2,000-tonne Syncrolift now on site.
The first vessel to participate in the refit program is the 41-metre superyacht M/Y Jetsetter, built by Dynamiq and delivered in 2016, which has already arrived at the Antalya facility for a comprehensive and intricate refit.
The project will cover a range of refurbishments, from propulsion systems overhauls to interior upgrades.
One of the refit’s main jobs is the maintenance of the pods and their gearboxes, a project being led by accredited Reintjes technicians.
Antalya Free Zone is a government-protected area that benefits from a special tax regime that lowers costs. It hosts a cluster of high-profile shipyards from Turkey and the Netherlands.
Dynamiq says the extra tax savings allows it to propose lower prices. This efficiency is aided by the strategic location and in-house production of luxury interiors, stainless steel, teak and more.
In addition, all refits benefit from the experience of Dynamiq’s shipyard design, engineering, production, purchasing, and support teams, which are capable of handling bespoke design items and complex technical tasks.
