Winch reveals its design concept for 80-metre superyacht Project Reverie, part of Oceanco’s Simply Custom series.

British yacht design firm Winch Design has revealed images of Project Reverie – a concept superyacht for Oceanco’s Simply Custom 80-metre range.
Oceanco’s new Simply Custom range is billed as a new, streamlined way for customers to build a custom Oceanco yacht, which removes some of the more time-consuming elements of a conventional fully-custom yacht build.
The yard has devised a new series of 17 individual 80-metre superyacht proposals, each with distinct exterior designs that can be customised by an owner, plus a full-custom interior.
Reverie – named for the state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts or daydreaming – offers smooth, sweeping lines and a strikingly simple hull.
Inside, the forward-facing master suite offers panoramic views and comes with a pool terrace. Or, in an alternative layout, an aft master suite offers private access to an owner’s lounge and the sun deck.
Guests can be accommodated in combination bedroom/sitting room suites, with a dedicated lounge on the forward upper deck.

Winch Design says Project Reverie draws inspiration from nature, specifically, the organic weathering process of stones and pebbles, evoking the smoothness and fluidity of their forms.
The exterior features decorative elements crafted from more sustainable timber alternatives like maple or tesumo.

“We draw inspiration from the serene beauty of a slipper launch and the natural allure of pebbled water’s edge, culminating in the creation of Reverie.
“It’s the simple references that leave lasting impressions and form the foundation of strong, pure concepts; this embodies the Winch approach.”
