Conserving swimways

YachtAid Global (YAG) has partnered with Tahiti Private Expeditions (TPE) to grow its ocean and marine life conservation efforts across its global Operation Swimway conservation program.

In an effort to give back to the oceans, YachtAid Global and Tahiti Private Expeditions have teamed up in the South Pacific and beyond to provide an immersive and educational experience for both yacht owners, and yacht charter clients alike focusing on the conservation of critical migration corridors for sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, and billfish along routes.

These corridors play a critical role in the migration of these species as they seek to reach new feeding grounds and protected pupping areas.

Operation Swimway provides much-needed support to the scientific community and affords all participants the pride of knowing they contributed to the preservation efforts of the seas they enjoy and the animals that live within.

Participating yachts, guests and crew, will have the opportunity to work side by side with distinguished members of the scientific community, assist with dives, operate underwater equipment, tag, measure and learn hands-on conservation methods and science.

YachtAid Global and Tahiti Private Expeditions have teamed up in the South Pacific to educate and inspire.

The immersive experiences focus on the conservation of critical migration corridors for marine life.

Yacht owners and charter guests are able to see the wonders of these swimway corridors for themselves.

Operation Swimway provides much-needed support to the scientific community.

The corridors are vital for the survival of species including sharks, manta rays, sea turtles and billfish.

Participants can get hands-on, undertaking science projects alongside researchers.

Tahiti Private Expeditions has worked with superyacht clients in French Polynesia over the past 15 years.

Operation Swimway allows participants to be involved in tagging, measuring and learning about conservation methods.
