Sydney Harbour Yacht Charter celebrates 21 years on the water and was chosen as the Charter Sponsor for Ocean Media's recent SailGP events.

One of the most experienced luxury charter boat companies in Sydney – Sydney Harbour Yacht Charter celebrated its 21st year of operation on Sydney Harbour, and recently partnered with Ocean Media for the launch of The Ocean Club Concierge service and the 2020 Sydney SailGP Adrenaline Yacht Program.
The company has been designing and facilitating boutique events for over two decades on its flagship 92-foot vessel, A.Q.A., recently refurbished to provide guests with an ultra-luxe experience.
The Warren Motor Yacht A.Q.A. is one of Sydney’s leading luxury vessels, offering a outstanding cruising experience. Renowned in Sydney for her class, superior service and timeless design, it is an ideal Sydney Harbour venue for high-end corporate and private events. It comprises a huge main lounge, skylounge, large top deck and three large bedrooms with ensuites, and can accommodate up to 65 for cocktails, casual buffet dining for 45 people, or up to 40 people for formal dining.

The company has welcomed numerous local and international celebrity clientele, including President George W Bush, Will Ferrell, Robert De Niro, Sir Elton John, Tom Cruise, Kylie Minogue, Vince Vaughn, Michael Buble, Ashton Kutcher, John Travolta, the late Whitney Houston, the late Michael Jackson and the late Robin Williams.
It has also been the venue for a number of high-end corporate events, including five consecutive years hosting Rolex VIPs during the Rolex Sydney to Hobart, Australian movie premieres for American Pie 2, Battleship, High School Musical, and Johnny English, and corporate events for the GWS Giants, NOVA Entertainment, Nude By Nature, Jose Cuervo Tequila, Virgin Money, the Invictus Games, and United Airlines and THALES.
In 2019 A.Q.A. saw extensive refurbishments completed of nearly $500,000, including:
- Entire navigation equipment upgrade by Garmin Australia, valued at $140,000;
- Main flybridge and helm redesign and refurbishment including leather finishes and timber panels;
- Flybridge lounge refit;
- Main aft deck lounge refit, with the addition of a 10-seat teak dining setting;
- Flybridge aft deck 12 person lounge suite;
- White wash oak timber flooring throughout the boat;
- Galley upgrades including Bosch double commercial ovens;
- Reverse cycle air conditioning system upgrade to the value of $150,000;
- Full rebuild of the bow sunbed and lounge furnishings;
- Installation of draft beer facilities, serving award-winning Hope Estate pale ale;
- All soft furnishings updated;
- A major international class survey was completed by DNV GL, the highest possible international safety and quality inspection.
