If ever there were a man for the job, it is Martino Del Nevo.
With a degree in Yacht and Powercraft Engineering from Genova University and an Executive MBA at the Politecnico di Milano, Del Nevo fits in perfectly at Cantiere delle Marche. In fact, he also attended a Strategy Executive course at Harvard University.
“I’m honoured to join the CDM team,” comments Del Nevo. “I’ve followed the brand’s growth throughout the years and have always appreciated the quality of CDM’s explorer yachts and the yard’s distinctive approach to building the most reliable and finest explorer yachts in the world.”
Throughout his career, Del Novo has gained international and diversified experience in ship and yacht building. From 2001 to 2004, he worked in Finland at Kvaermer Masa-Yards as onsite coordinator, overseeing the interior areas of some of the largest cruising ships ever built.
Back in Italy, Del Nevo became Account Manager and Production Project Manager at ISA Yachts. Afterward, he flew to Turkey to work as Project Manager at Sunrise Yachts for the construction of M/Y Estel, a 63-metre yacht designed by Espen Øino.
In more recent years, Del Nevo has worked for the two largest groups in the yachting industry, Azimut Benetti and Ferretti Group.
Del Nevo worked as Head of Project and Product Manager for Azimut Yachts and Project Manager for Benetti Yachts. He also filled the role of Head of New Projects at Custom Line, part of Ferretti Group.
“We’re glad to welcome Martino Del Nevo on board Cantiere delle Marche and are looking forward to working together on bringing CDM toward new horizons,” says Ennio Cecchini, CEO of Cantiere delle Marche.
“In a phase of great expansion resulting from CDM’s explorer yachts’ extraordinary commercial success, leveraging his expertise in the yachting industry, Martino will reorganise and oversee operations by strengthening technical, production and project managers departments while implementing CDM’s business processes.
“To support the new Chief Operating Officer, Cantiere delle Marche is hiring a significant number of highly skilled professionals.”
