Spirit Marine hosts Beneteau’s Antares 12 debut at the Southport Yacht Club, capping off the boatbuilder’s 140th anniversary celebrations in Australia.

Spirit Marine, the official Queensland distribution partner for French boatbuilder Beneteau, is hosting the Australian launch of the Antares 12 at the Southport Yacht Club on the Gold Coast.

Scheduled for Wednesday 13 November, this event marks part of Beneteau’s ongoing 140th-anniversary celebrations.

Spirit Marine’s managing director, Peter Nicholson, describes the occasion as a tribute to the values of “audacity, passion, craftsmanship and design” that Beneteau embodies.

“We are excited to host the Australian launch event for the Antares 12 at one of the hubs of the Australian boating sector, the Southport Yacht Club on the Gold Coast,” says Nicholson.

Key highlights include a spacious flybridge and a well-appointed interior.

The boat has three outdoor lounge areas.

The Antares 12 model is noted for its design, quality and connectivity.

The event aims to introduce Australian boating enthusiasts to the Antares 12, a model noted for its design, quality and connectivity in the outboard motorboat category.

“This event is a celebration of not just this fantastic vessel that showcases all of the best characteristics of the Beneteau brand,” says Nicholson. “It also allows us to acknowledge the rich heritage of one of the world’s largest and oldest recreational boat builders.”
