Immerse yourself in a million blooms at Floriade, Australia's biggest celebration of spring.

Dive into this year’s theme, the Sounds of Spring, and treat yourself to a varied soundtrack of jazz, classical and contemporary tunes, with performances happening across three stages spread throughout the park.

Browse market stalls and meet food and wine producers behind some of the region’s best products. Attend workshops and talks by leading horticulturalists, florists and Floriade’s gardeners.

In keeping with the theme of Sounds of Spring, musical workshops will also be on offer throughout the festival. For families, there are plenty of activities for little gardeners including gnome painting and art and craft sessions.

Relax in the afternoon sun with a picnic blanket and try locally crafted beers at Canberra’s award-winning Capital Brewing Co.

Brewery tours also run every Saturday and Sunday featuring a behind-the-scenes look at how Capital turn malt, hops, water and yeast into delicious beer. Bookings are essential.

When the sun goes down, explore Floriade’s dark side as NightFest returns with a new and exciting program of after-dark entertainment from 29 September to 2 October.

From 6.30pm to 10.30pm each evening, the park will be illuminated with colour and filled with entertainers, musicians and fantastic food.

NightFest will have two distinct moods this year – relax and unwind on Thursday and Sunday night or join the party on Friday and Saturday night.

NightFest tickets go on sale on 5 August.
