The new 44.2-metre Explorer model, christened Heeus, was launched to water at the Bering shipyard in Antalya.
Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Bering 145 explorer is a semi-custom platform designed and constructed by the team of in-house engineers and naval architects. With a volume of 499 gt, she is the ideal vessel for autonomous long-distance cruising.
It features a six-cabin layout on the three-deck and flybridge with jacuzzi and bar zone. The master stateroom is located on the main deck toward the bow, with glass windows measuring more than 9.5-square-metres.
A huge saloon with a dining area for 12 guests and a lounge area are located on the main deck. Another dining table is on the upper deck, in the sky lounge.
Heeus is a spacious luxury expedition yacht, ready to accommodate up to 12 guests on unforgettable journeys worldwide with the assistance of ten crew members.
Demonstrating the flexibility of a semi-custom platform, Heeus also features a spacious beach club and garage zone behind the beach club of more than 25 square metres. The yacht has four crew cabins and captain’s quarters.
Bering Yachts Founder Alexei Mikhailov said, “We are very proud to have this first hull in the model range to launch. This will be the beginning of a new chapter for the Bering Yachts company.”
In terms of her technical details, it’s clear the B145 yacht is a vessel built to explore.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT, “B” Rated 1200 BHP at 1800-2100 RPM (variable operating speed range type engines), HEEUS has a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The superyacht features a hybrid propulsion system. The propeller is driven by electric motors charged by a bank of batteries. The banks are recharged by high-efficiency, variable-speed DC generators. Docking and mooring are possible in electric mode.
The special feature of this model is the ice belt that will let the owner explore the most distant and cold corners of our planet. B145 has an enormous fuel capacity of 95,600 Litres. An autonomous range in excess of 5000 nautical miles allows her owners to reach any destinations in complete comfort and safety.
Bering Yachts Bering’s Monaco office handled the sale of Hull 5 of the stunning 26-metre B80 to European customers. They have also sold the first of the newly developed B125.
The Bering B80 is a supremely capable and seaworthy passagemaker. Being one of the widest boats in her sub-24-metre class, her massive 233 gt interior houses up to five lower deck staterooms while providing a private main deck master suite for panoramic views.
With a range exceeding 6,000 nautical miles, she offers a safe platform for any comfortable family adventure.
Currently, there are five other B80 pocket explorers in build with 2023 and 2024 deliveries.
The model has gained popularity as it features all the amenities you would expect on larger superyachts: separate crew walkways for more guest privacy, huge storage capabilities, optional captain’s cabin behind the wheelhouse, and tender storage for up to 6.5-metres.
The 38-metre B125 will be one of the biggest and most capable explorer yachts in her class, featuring a massive 9-metre beam and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
Like all Bering models, she is a semi-custom steel and aluminium vessel with superior comfort and safety. With top features including exceptional beach club facilities and large living spaces, the Bering 125 yacht is a yacht designed for endless exploration, with five guest cabins and accommodation for seven crew. She is built to Rina class.
There are 16 other Bering vessels in build at the brand’s Antalya facilities in Turkey.
