Aquila Australia has appointed Alexander Marine as its second Queensland agent for Aquila Power Catamarans, joining Spectrum Marine as representatives for this impressive international brand.

On the back of the appointment of Alexander Marine as the Queensland Dealer for Whitehaven Motor Yachts, the Whitehaven Group continue to capitalise on this partnership with their appointment as an Aquila Agent to further support their distribution of the Aquila Power Catamaran in the prominent Queensland market.

“The Whitehaven Group’s success with Aquila has made Australia & New Zealand the second biggest market for the brand outside the US, and the appointment of Alexander Marine is strategic to maintaining this enviable market position,” said Bruce Scott, Managing Director of the Whitehaven Group.

“Alexander Marine have great reach into the Whitsundays and Far North Queensland and their new sales location at The Dock within the Boat Works facility further presents new sales opportunities.”

Todd Holzapfel, Dealer Principal/Director at Alexander Marine, described the appointment of Alexander Marine as “an exciting extension of our new relationship with Whitehaven Motor Yachts”.

“We will be working with Aquila Australia to assist them with promoting this exceptional power catamaran brand in Queensland,” he continued. “We are impressed with Aquila’s constant innovation and their considerable market success.

“We have observed remarkable potential for further sales growth here in Queensland, which is the gateway to the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef.”

Todd has inspected the range of Aquila power catamarans, including the 42 Yacht and Aquila 36 Sport in Cannes, and the all-new 47 Molokai at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

“I have spoken with professional captains about their positive experiences of the Aquila range, and I can see increased interest in the marketplace from buyers considering the features and benefits of power catamarans,” he said.

“There is tremendous scope for the brand in Australia and a host of exciting new models launching soon.”
