Bertram Yachts, a Florida-based shipyard known for its sportfishing boats, has launched the new Bertram 34CC.

The Bertram 34CC is a centre console model designed for “serious anglers” and their families and friends. Bertram has packed the boat with features catering to fishing enthusiasts and those seeking leisure on the water.

Anglers will appreciate the spacious, open cockpit, which includes four large insulated fish boxes to keep the day’s catch fresh. The design incorporates a wide engine well bridge for easy access to the transom and rod storage and holders, which are useful during offshore trips.

The boat has Bertram’s signature deep-V hull design and is powered by Mercury Marine engines, which are available in various power options.

Beyond its fishing capabilities, the Bertram 34CC offers convertible spaces that allow for simple transitions between serious fishing trips and relaxed gatherings.

The 34CC offers a forward aft entrance to the air-conditioned cabin, which has a fold-down couch that converts to a full queen bed, a head, and a vanity.

Seating options include three wide helm seats, wrap-around bow seating, fold-down transom seats, and aft-facing transom seating. Owners can also opt for mezzanine seating, tackle centres, and other leisure features such as a sun pad, sun shade and kitchen system.

“We’ve integrated lessons from our best-running hulls to create the perfect blend,” says Nicholas Fletcher, Bertram’s naval architect programme manager.

“We focused on balancing weight and running surface to deliver a ride that is comfortable and dynamically refined.”

The 34CC’s fish boxes are designed with specific drainage systems, making them suitable for in-floor storage and offering flexibility based on the customer’s preference and daily needs. These compartments drain properly to ensure gear remains dry.

The company continues to partner with companies such as Mercury and Garmin for electronics and systems.

“We prioritise resilient, proven system designs over high-tech solutions that can be difficult to manage,” says Dan Hamilton, Bertram’s Director of Product Development and Engineering. “Our approach ensures reliability and ease of use for our customers.”

Bertram continues to expand its product line. “We’re looking to grow our portfolio with new models in the larger size range,” says Hamilton.

The Bertram 34CC is available in various colour options, configurations, and engine power selections.
