World champion America’s Cup skipper Terry Hutchinson will open METSTRADE 2024.

Terry Hutchinson, the skipper and president of operations for New York Yacht Club American Magic, will address an international audience of marine professionals at the METSTRADE 2024 Breakfast Briefing on the show’s opening day, 19 November.
Twice named US Sailing’s Rolex Yachtsman of the Year, lifetime competitive sailor Hutchinson has participated in five America’s Cup Campaigns so far and has won 17 world championships in the Farr 40, IMS, J/24, and TP 52 classes, in addition to the Maxi 72 and Maxi Class.
He is also acknowledged by his peers as a proven master in forming and managing the multi-disciplined shore and on-water teams required for any successful sailing campaign.

The METSTRADE ICOMIA Breakfast Briefing is the traditional prelude to METSTRADE and has featured many notable speakers over the years.
The Breakfast Briefing is organised in partnership with ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) and will take place at 8 am on 19 November 2024.
It is open to METSTRADE exhibitors, members of METSTRADE’s Young Professionals Club, press and VIP guests. It will be followed by the announcement of who has achieved success in the 2024 DAME Design Awards.
