Greek boatbuilder Technohull has extended the design philosophy of the Alpha 50 to a new model, the Alpha 40. This vessel includes expansive deck areas, multiple lounging zones, and an aerodynamic hardtop with a large windscreen. A lower cabin features a double berth and a separate head with shower, offering a headroom of 1.85 metres.

The advanced naval architecture of the Alpha 40 enhances guest comfort and improves cruising efficiency across a range of speeds. Built in Technohull’s 70-acre production facility, the model has already achieved 28 hull sales ahead of its official launch.

The Alpha 40 stands out with its sleek profile and space-efficient design. Its carbon hardtop provides protection from the elements, while the large windscreen offers clear visibility from the helm, which can accommodate two 12-inch multifunction displays. The helm features three sit/stand chairs with bolsters, designed for comfort in various conditions, with alternative seating configurations available.

The shipyard says the deck layout of the Alpha 40 is designed to maximise guest comfort. Multiple configurations are available depending on whether the vessel has inboard or outboard engines. The cockpit, located aft of the helm, includes settees and a table, creating a space suited to socialising and outdoor dining. Optional configurations include U-shaped seating, I-format seating, and variable sunpad sizes. The inboard version offers a larger sunbed for additional lounging space.

At the bow, the deck includes a forward-facing console settee that can double as a small sunbed, along with another large sunpad. Upholstery and stitching throughout the vessel further enhance guest comfort.

“The Alpha 40 embodies our new design philosophy, particularly with the spacious deck configuration and the beautifully realised carbon hardtop, and it is setting new standards in its segment,” says Gerasimos Petratos, CEO of Technohull.

“The sophisticated and well-thought-out layout allows for extremely generous deck space, which in turn offers an ultra-comfortable stay on board – further enhanced by the luxury fit and finish which we complete to the highest standards.”

Below deck, the Alpha 40 includes a cabin with a double berth and a separate head compartment with a shower, offering 1.85 metres of headroom for privacy and convenience.

The vessel features a three-stepped deep-V Dynastream hull, which enhances performance and manoeuvrability without sacrificing comfort. This hull design allows for planing at low speeds, providing a smooth cruising experience.

Engine options include up to twin 500-horsepower outboards, and with an 800-litre fuel capacity, the Alpha 40 is built for extended use. It can carry up to 12 passengers.

The Alpha 40 is produced in Technohull’s state-of-the-art shipyard, which spans 70 acres with 25,000 square metres of covered production space. This advanced facility ensures high build quality, allowing the Alpha 40 to combine luxury, comfort, and performance in a cohesive design.

The Alpha 40 measures 12.1 metres in length with a beam of 3.6 metres, offering ample space on board. Certified to CE Cat B standards, the Alpha 40 is engineered for offshore conditions, combining durability and comfort.
