Horizon Yachts’ latest E Series model, the E81, makes its US debut.

Taiwanese manufacturer Horizon Yachts has crossed the Pacific Ocean to release its E81 model to the US market for the first time.
Like many of the brand’s contemporary models, the E81 was born following a series of customer requests for a spacious vessel that could match their cruising lifestyle.
Expanding on the E Series’ legacy of being one of Horizon Yachts‘ oldest and most popular ranges, recognised for its classic flybridge layout, the E81 features a 6.25-metre beam.
Equipped with twin Onan 29kW generators and twin CAT C32 engines of 1600 hp each, the E81 is a vessel purposed for function. A decision supported by the bow and stern thrusters, Zero Speed stabilisers and Sea Recovery watermaker with a 900-gallon capacity per day. A wireless yacht controller also allows the yacht to be docked remotely.
This first E81 model to touch US soil is distinguished by its custom additions, including an expansive open bridge with hardtop and fixed glass windshield and full helm station.

Inside follows a modern decor. Outfitted with light oak accentuated by dark wood, the main saloon is fitted with a large L-shaped sofa parallel to a pop-up television, while a customised galley to starboard with overhead cabinetry offers extra space.
This E81 also includes a four-stateroom layout with two crew quarters in the rear and a large master suite that encompasses the full-beam amidship. Forward of the master suite is the two guest staterooms with a bunk room and convertible twin as well as a spacious VIP room.

“With the E81, we’ve taken the sleek, ever-popular E Series profile and given her a beamy hull that accommodates a wide range of engine options, while not compromising on performance or draft.”
Currently under construction, Hull Two will feature an enclosed bridge design and is on schedule to be delivered in late 2021.
