Absolute Yachts has added the new Navetta 70 model to its range of luxury motor yachts and plans to host the launch at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, scheduled to run 10 to 15 September 2024.

The Navetta 70 represents a new direction in design for the Italian shipyard, which is known for producing power yachts ranging from 47 to 75 feet across the Navetta, Flybridge and Coupé ranges and is represented in the Asia Pacific by the Yacht Sales Co.

Defined by original architecture and design, the 21.3-metre Navetta 70 incorporates hallmark features of the Absolute Yachts range, including open lateral gunwales, covered walkways, extensive glazing on main and lower decks, minimal use of steps, cockpit terrace, high ceilings and sliding doors.

However, the Navetta 70 also introduces fresh innovations, including a new contemporary interior design style with bleached timber and bronze finishes, an enlarged galley, and an optimised flybridge configuration that can incorporate a suite of light solar panels for cruising autonomy.

The yacht’s expansive flybridge, accessible via a covered stairwell, features integrated areas from the forward helm station to a wet bar, an outdoor galley, a dining setting for eight guests, and an aft leisure area with designer furniture that can be rearranged for different occasions.

The aft cockpit terrace incorporates an icemaker and a third mooring station, with the living space extending throughout the private accommodations. The Navetta 70 also features crew quarters comprising two berths and a separate galley.

Absolute Yachts’ Italian craftsmanship is evident throughout the model’s design, from the ceiling motifs to the luxe materials used on all finishes.

From the terrace cockpit at the stern, where there is a third mooring station, a covered staircase leads up to the flybridge. Here, guests can take advantage of the shade offered by the hard top, which can be configured in two distinct ways: either left openable to provide coverage through a sunshade, or fixed to allow the addition of solar panels.

In a statement, the yard said, “An exquisite blend of technical excellence, powerful performance and magnetic beauty, the new Navetta 70 heralds an exciting new era in luxury yacht design.”
