Italian luxury boatbuilder Absolute Yachts has confirmed details of its lineup for the 2023 edition of the Genoa International Boat Show, which takes place from 21 to 26 September.

The Genoa International Boat Show (Salone Nautico) was inaugurated in 1962, and is held annually in Genoa, on Italy’s northwestern coast.

Organisers Confindustria Nautica, the Italian Marine Industry Association, promise the 63rd edition of Italy’s premier boat show will have 1,043 brands on display, and feature over 1,000 boats from 2 metres to 40 metres in length.

The 2023 edition also offers 143 additional berths, thanks to the opening of the waterfront’s brand-new canals. In total, 184 new products will be showcased for the first time (an increase of 9.5 per cent compared to 2022).

Navetta 52

The Navetta 52 measures 52 feet (15.85 metres) and is built around the concept of providing superior comfort and liveability compared to other yachts in the same category.

The outdoor areas comprise a flybridge with a helm station surrounded by sofas, an outdoor galley and dining table and a panoramic terrace.

Generously sized sun loungers at the bow are also designed for easy socialising. Inside the main saloon, the 360-degree glazing ensures a constant connection to the marine setting outside.

The galley is positioned so it can be used in connection with both the saloon and the cockpit terrace, creating a large multi-functional space overlooking the water. The principal helm station is modern and ergonomic, with a side door opening onto the lateral walkway for total control during mooring operations.

Navetta 64

The Navetta 64 has an exterior that is hallmarked by large windows enclosing the saloon and main helm, along with generous hull windows corresponding to the owner and VIP cabins. An elegant motif is formed by the side rail, with open gunwales and raked columns.

Unusually, the beach club on the Navetta 64 has a cabin looking onto the stern platform.

Enclosed by glazing, this space can be used as a beach club lounge, with a generously sized sofa, or as a normal double-bed stateroom.

The berth itself is at a level slightly lower than the stern platform, giving guests a superb view of the sea, which the yard says is reminiscent of an infinity pool.

Navetta 68

The Navetta 68 offers spaces that are far larger than you would expect from a 68-foot yacht, particularly below deck.

The four staterooms include the master suite in the bows with two panoramic hull-side windows, an en-suite bathroom with a double basin and a large shower.

The bow sun lounger is accompanied by a settee and extendable table; the flybridge has an outdoor galley, a dining table and a helm station with adjoining sofas so that the owner can navigate with guests nearby.

Throughout the yacht, spaces are optimised by means of sliding doors, vertically sliding glazed panels, ample headroom, and lots of storage space.

Absolute is appearing at the 2023 Genoa Boat Show at stand YE21A, in the Yacht & Superyacht section on pier E, where visitors can step aboard these three boats to explore them in person.
