The second Pendennis-built Hoek Truly Classic 128’ sailing yacht has launched from the specialist facility in Falmouth, and has entered the shipyard’s adjacent non-tidal wet basin for rig stepping and commissioning in anticipation of undergoing sea trials.
The classically styled superyacht Halekai features exterior and interior design from Hoek Design Naval Architects, with MCM acting as owners’ representative.
Halekai is the fourth hull in the TC128 series, known for their distinctive classic hull shape and above-water styling combined with a modern underwater configuration.
This latest build brought together the same build team associated with the award-winning SY Vijonara in 2018.
Halekai‘s interior styling has been curated by Ken Fulk Inc. of New York, inspired by the unique history and culture of Hawaii. Halekai translates to “home on the sea”, a fitting name for a bespoke-built yacht, which is destined to be sailed around the world by her new owners.
