Riviera presented the World Premiere of the latest model in its Sports Motor Yacht collection, the 39, in a magnificent  showcase of 11 exquisite motor yachts at the Sydney International Boat Show in early August.

The showcase also included the Sydney Premieres of the sporty and adventurous Riviera 395 SUV and the long-range and luxurious 72 Sports Motor Yacht.

OceanTV caught up with Stephen Milne from Riviera to talk about the 72 Sports Motor Yacht, and the company’s plans for the future.

The Riviera 6000, 5400 and 4800 Sport Yachts, blue-water 52 Enclosed and 43 Open Flybridge models, 575 and 445 SUVs and a Belize 54 Daybridge completed Riviera’s display.

On the Saturday evening of the show, more than 400 members of the Riviera family from around Australia and the world celebrated during a special gala function.

Brightly-lit motor yachts gleamed, four powerful singers serenaded and the red carpet was abuzz during an evening of fun, friendship, fine wines and food.

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst told the guests: “Our team is proud to display our outstanding new 39 Sports Motor Yacht to boating aficionados in Sydney. She provides a compelling new entree to the Riviera family.

“The Riviera 39 Sports Motor Yacht is a brilliant example of Riviera’s evolution and constant refinement across our five collections.”

Stewart and Lyn Nicholas had a special reason to celebrate in the joyful environment.

“We signed a contract on our new Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge just as the party began to warm up,” said Stewart. “We came to the show because Lyn said it was time for us to upgrade to a new motor yacht. The timing was perfect.

“We are new to the Riviera family and it was a fabulous introduction. We enjoyed meeting and talking with many like-minded people.”
