The YOT Power Catamarans family is expanding just a year after the launch of its first model, the YOT36.

The YOT41 — the second model in the French catamaran maker’s range — will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 10 to 15 September 2024 at the Vieux Port. The boat will appear alongside the YOT36.

Visitors to the Catana Group stand at Cannes can explore the YOT41 in detail, meet the teams and dealers, and learn about the various customisation options available.

The YOT41 is designed for medium-range cruising programmes, offering spacious accommodation and comfort for family trips that might last several days.

Catana says the 11.86-metre YOT 41 promises “sensational performance, elegant design and clever, modular and spacious accommodation.” Thanks to the fold-down aft platforms, the YOT41 has a generous 5.82-metre beam, while its 25-square-metre surface area offers a high degree of modularity.

A sofa bed at the stern (with a mini fridge built into its base) creates a comfy lounge area in the shade of the hard top.

A central walkway runs through the vessel, leading to two ensuite cabins. The cabins have been designed with comfort in mind, with clever storage solutions that don’t disrupt the design.

The YOT41 is available with an optional electric platform aft (capacity 200 kg) that can be lowered for water access. In the raised position, it serves as an additional multi-purpose area.

The YOT41 is powered by 400hp Mercury V10 engines, and Catana Group says it will reach “impressive speeds” at sea. The vessel does not have stabilisers but promises an “air cushion” effect to ensure it remains stable in choppy seas.

YOT Power Catamarans has a sales network across Europe, the United States and the Middle East. The YOT network is expanding rapidly, with eight dealers, including five new partners worldwide.

After Cannes, the firm will attend many of the major boat shows in the second half of 2024 and into 2025, including Geneva 2024, Barcelona Boat Show 2024, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2024 and Boot Düsseldorf 2025.
