The new Aquila 70 cruising yacht features multiple elements of technology, design, versatility, and utility – from the spacious and flexible salon layouts to the entertaining space thoughtfully appointed on the skydeck.
Dave Bigge, Vice President Aquila International, provides more detail. “Engineered for comfort and range, the Aquila 70’s raised bridge-deck between hulls allows for greater comfort underway and improved speed. The award-winning design team impresses us yet again with the working deck, technical areas, and operational features of the vessel. Power and manoeuvrability will come from large inboard Volvo Diesels coupled with joystick docking. Strategic use of carbon fibre will add to strength while maintaining weight targets.”
Aquila’s International Distribution Manager, Yvan Eymieu, comments, “the Aquila 70will set a new standard for quality, innovation, and performance in the power catamaran and luxury yacht segment. This vessel is unlike anything you’ve stepped aboard before. Soft-touch fabrics, rich wood finishes, panoramic windows, increased headroom, and versatile interior layouts offer everything a yacht owner is looking for.”
Plans are to debut the yacht in mid-2020.
