Food, wine and good times are back on the menu with the Western Australia Gourmet Escape, currently set for 17 to 21 November 2021.

With a confirmed total of 30 events across the state, including Margaret River, Swan Valley and Rottnest Island, the culinary celebration is set to expose more than 30 of Australia’s most recognised chefs to Western Australia, including Curtis Stone, Rick Stein, Shannon Martinez, Colin Fassnidge and Matt Stone.

Also included will be the faces of Australia’s new wave of wine, such as Curly Haslam-Coates, Erin Larkin and Samantha Payne.

With 2021 marking the ninth instalment of Gourmet Escape, organisers have confirmed this year’s edition will offer an expanded program.

These additions include the Rottnest Sunset, an alfresco feast with Rick Stein and Colin Fassnidge at the island’s Pinky’s Beach Club, and AGWA Rooftop Wine Dine and Disco party, held in Perth at the Art Gallery of Western Australia’s new rooftop bar.

The Swan Valley-based Grazie Mille and The Vineyard Party held at the Leeuwin Estate are also expected to go ahead this November.

Nigella Lawson enthused, “Before I came to Margaret River I had people telling me that my experience at Gourmet Escape was going to be so magical; it was going to change my life … I have to say it has well and truly exceeded my expectations!”

Tickets are on sale now. Prices range from AU$25 to over AU$300.
