Turkish power cat builder VisionF Yachts has unveiled a brand new 30.7-metre catamaran, which is approaching the final stages of build at the company’s production site in Yalova.
The all-aluminium hulls of VisionF 101 Alu have been completed and turned, and the superstructure’s production is complete. For the first time, VisionF has made the roof from GRP (glass fibre-reinforced polyester), making the boat lighter and improving speed.
VisionF says the supercat’s plumb bows, curved glass, and low, aerodynamic superstructure distinguish it as a modern catamaran designed for exciting cruising.
When delivered, the VisionF 101 Alu will offer nearly 400 square metres of living space, including a 140-square-metre flybridge with a jacuzzi and a 30-square-metre owner’s suite. The main deck level also features a cockpit and an expansive foredeck lounge.
The high-power drivetrain uses four Volvo Penta IPA1350s, which generate 4,000 hp, or nearly 3 MW, and achieve speeds up to 20 knots.
The concept is for a Mediterranean boat capable of ambitious crossings between cruising grounds and long holidays involving coastal hops between harbours and anchorages. For example, the yacht could manage Capri to Porto Cervo in a day or Messina to Corfu.
Aft spaces are devoted to shady dining or activities at the water’s edge, courtesy of the hydraulic bathing platform. The foredeck has a C-shaped sofa, armchairs, and coffee tables.
The interior of the yacht has not yet been fully revealed but has room for up to 12 guests, and the owner’s 30-square-metre suite fills half the starboard hull.
VisionF says the designs being developed for the first boat create a serene interplay of neutral tones and modern design.
The VisionF Yachts team plans to launch the new VisionF 101 Alu in 2025.
