British jet tender manufacturer Williams Jet Tenders is marking its 20th anniversary at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival in September, with the introduction of an updated version of its SportJet 460 model.
The refreshed SportJet 460 features an updated helm display and improved ergonomics. Designed for yachts over 25 metres, the SportJet 460 can accommodate up to six passengers and is designed to provide a stable cruising experience. The model is also capable of functioning as a ski boat, reaching speeds of up to 48 miles per hour, making it suitable for water sports activities. The tender is powered by the BRP Rotax engine series.
The updated model includes an improved boarding pole placement and an optional step pad for added stability. The design also incorporates an aft footrest to enhance passenger comfort.
Also on display at Cannes will be the limited-edition TurboJet 325, released in recognition of Williams’ 20-year history. This model features a custom colour scheme and detailed craftsmanship. Suitable for smaller yachts with garages and bathing platforms ranging from 16 to 21 metres, the TurboJet 325 can seat four adults. It is designed for a variety of water activities and includes enhanced fuel efficiency and a catalytic converter for reduced emissions.
Mathew Hornsby, commercial director at Williams Jet Tenders, stated: “We’re thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, marked by the delivery of our revamped SportJet 460 and a limited-edition TurboJet 325.
“Over a decade after the launch of our original model, we’re excited to showcase our latest innovations while evoking a unique sense of nostalgia with this thrilling tender.”
