Twenty years of mastery

From 19 to 21 February, Barcelona will host the first of two stages of the 20th edition of the Benetti Yachtmaster.

Benetti Yachtmaster is a one-of-a-kind event that for 20 years has brought together captains and professionals in the superyacht sector and created opportunities for discussion, innovation and information.

For this twentieth anniversary, the Yachtmaster is presented in a revisited format and packed with interesting insights that, during the European leg, will address issues related to the entire life cycle of a Custom yacht. The second leg of this special edition will start in April in Florida.

The 20th edition of the Yachtmaster is one of the first events that Benetti is organising in 2020 with the aim of bringing in the yachting world new ideas of growth and development” said Franco Fusignani, CEO of Benetti, on the eve of the event.

During the first leg, moderated by well-known influencer David Seal, all aspects of the life cycle of a Custom yacht will be addressed. The calendar, packed with events, provides the perfect balance between training opportunities, workshops, team building activities and sessions dedicated to sponsors.

Benetti’s management will take part in the meetings, sharing their expertise with the participants.

Benetti’s expertise will be the highlight of this brand new revisitation of a format that is celebrating its twentieth anniversary and has been extremely well received by the entire yachting industry, as demonstrated by the large number of attendees.

This year’s great novelty will be the workshops entirely dedicated to the crew and their activities, as part of a customer-centric approach. The workshops devised by the organisation:

Customer Centricity: we will explain how Benetti value customers, funnelling their requests along the entire sales process; from negotiation to the signing of the contract;
Design of Your Dream, attended by English studio RWD’s designers: guests will get a glimpse of the work-flow transforming even the most pioneering design sketch into a tangible reality;
From a Blank Sheet to the Sea: by covering the factual activities behind the construction phase, guests will better understand how to foster the entire construction process;
Caring Beyond Time and Space: a dedicated intervention to the topic of refitting and styling of a custom yacht. Lusben and Yachtique will share their expertise and best practices based on their solid and prestigious experience. Starting from the refitting works, illustrate how to provide all-round assistance to captains and crews with updating courses and dedicated training in shipyards and marinas (Marina di Varazze, Royal Yacht Club of Moscow).
