METSTRADE, one of the leading annual events in the marine industry, has established the Superyacht Content Board.
The board aims to foster stronger ties between METSTRADE and the most significant associations in the superyacht sector.
With over 1,500 exhibitors and 18,600 professionals, the annual METSTRADE show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is among the most influential B2B gatherings in the industry.
The news comes after METSTRADE organiser RAI Amsterdam acquired The Superyacht Forum from The Superyacht Group earlier this year.
RAI Amsterdam says it is committed to addressing the educational needs of the superyacht value chain, engaging industry associations in shaping the show’s agenda, and delivering content that propels the superyacht industry forward.
The board, comprised of trade associations in superyacht building, brokerage, refit, and operations, will gather biannually in April/May and November during METSTRADE.
On 7 May 2024, the Superyacht Content Board convened for its inaugural meeting in Amsterdam. The board provided guidance on METSTRADE, including its Superyacht Pavilion and The Superyacht Forum.
The members of the Superyacht Content Board include:
“The establishment of the Superyacht Content Board underscores the exceptional relationship between METSTRADE and the superyacht industry,” says Niels Klarenbeek, METSTRADE director.
“We’re delighted by the overwhelming support from the industry’s most influential associations.
“METSTRADE is renowned for its ‘for the industry, by the industry’ ethos. I am confident that the Superyacht Content Board will enhance our Superyacht Pavilion, its educational components, and fringe events.”
According to show organisers, the Superyacht Pavilion (SYP) at METSTRADE has reported exponential growth over the years, emerging as the fastest-growing segment of the premier B2B event for leisure marine professionals worldwide.
METSTRADE 2024 will run from 19 to 21 November at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.
