The 2022 Superyacht Soirée has been hailed a success, despite inclement weather. This year, the event showcased ten superyachts and around 340 guests who enjoyed the superlative vessels and 5-star entertainment and catering.
The participating superyachts, courtesy of the broker partners and Captains, included Infinity Pacific, Perle Bleue, The Star, One O One, Rascal, Chaos, Sea Raes, Quantum, Little White Bikini and Mon Reve.
Accompanying these were luxury tender limousine vessels, Trouble and Cheeky. A sensational trifecta of Maseratis lined the quay, along with a display of the latest efoil board technology from Fliteboard, while iAqua Watersports presented SeaDart water toys.
Soirée hospitality on offer in the ‘Benetti Lounge’ included a selection of wines from Tyrrell’s Wines, caviar from Pacific Provisions, gourmet delicacies provided by Doltone House, spirits from Manly Spirits Co and The Whisky Ambassador’s Glenfiddich showcase onboard Ahoy Club’s vessel Chaos.
A magnificent display of jewellery by renowned Sydney-based fine jewellers, Musson Jewellers, was on board The Star. Musson was announced as a new major partner of this year’s Soirée, accompanying luxury Italian yacht designers Benetti Yachts.
“If ever there was a perfect fit, it’s superyachts and diamonds – both are potent symbols of luxury, taste, design, enduring investment and an aspirational lifestyle,” said Olivar Musson, Creative Director, Musson.
Ocean Alliance Managing Director, Joachim Howard, said, “As central agents, we represent a large percentage of the superyacht charter fleet in Australia. Aligning with the only large luxury yacht show in the region makes sense, and we were proud to be a part of this hugely successful event once again.”
Superyacht Australia CEO, David Good, said, “The positive response to this year’s Soirée by key stakeholders reflects the confidence in the sector which has seen phenomenal growth in the past 12 months despite the challenges of the pandemic.
“The Soirée provides the perfect opportunity to view some of the finest vessels in the Australian fleet. It reinforces yacht charter as the best way to experience amazing parts of Australia in true comfort, safety and luxury.”
