M/Y Starlight is to date the main custom project designed by the French studio Darnet Design. The superyacht concept has been put up for sale. The design studio believes the superyacht could be sailing as soon as 2023 if it is sold.

Conceived and designed for extensive cruising in all sea conditions, this six-deck superyacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, meeting the Lloyd’s classification requirements, and provides the very latest comforts and technologies for her guests and crew.

Key features include one of the biggest beach clubs on the market, over 100 square metres, with two underwater observatories; a touch-and-go helicopter landing pad; a 17-square-metre swimming pool on the aft main deck; and a large atrium with a unique moving platform in the main and upper salons.

The tender garage located between the engine room and the beach club can accommodate two luxury tenders measuring respectively 10 metres and 8 metres, up to three jet skis and additional water toys.

Powered by two 3,140 hp engines, Starlight can reach a cruising speed of 16 knots while top speed is 19 knots.

Her vast exterior areas are conceived as very comfortable outdoor living spaces, making the most of the broad beam with several sun-drenched or shaded lounge, seating and dining areas across the decks.

On the aft lower deck a big comfortable external salon increases the enjoyment of the beach club to create a multifunctional area exceeding 100 square metres.

The glass-sided swimming pool has been designed on the main deck aft overlooking the beach club below and is next to a huge outdoor salon on the other side.

The bridge deck offers endless possibilities for enjoyment and relaxation, unwinding in the circular jacuzzi or soaking in the sun on the broad sunbed area covering the stern. The sun deck is perfectly set up for alfresco lounging and seating with a massive raised forward sunbed and several L-shaped sofas and coffee tables.

The owner’s foredeck boasts a sheltered alfresco private terrace for lounging or informal dining and a spa pool. From here, the owner has direct access to the helipad and to a unique love nest integrated into the bow featuring a privileged panoramic window forward.

Inside, there is accommodation for 14 guests in six guest cabins on the main deck and the owner’s stateroom on the dedicated deck above.

The spacious design of the main salon includes a social area with abundant natural light and extensive open spaces. Ideal for family and social gatherings, this multipurpose area offers the utmost comfort and relaxation.

Stretching the full height of two floors, LCD wall screens decorate the large atrium where the formal dining area and main salon are on the bottom deck and the upper salon on the owner’s deck above.

The owner’s area is forward on the upper deck and is equipped with separate his and hers bathrooms, owner’s office, dressing room and panoramic suite, which looks out onto the owner’s private terrace.

The wellness area is located on the main deck alongside the guest accommodation and features a guest gym, spa and sauna. A nice and functional square-base lift is also provided to service guests from the main deck to the sun deck, while a dumb waiter is in service for crew from the lower deck to the sun deck.

The crew quarters are traditionally on the lower deck and include galley, crew cabins, mess, lounge and gym as well as extra storage and laundry facilities on the below tank deck.
