Combining Holterman’s history of boatbuilding prowess, Bernd Weel’s dynamic design talent, client feedback and the cumulative experience of developing the Xtreme, the all-new X-95 has been 60 years in the making.

This exciting addition to the Xtreme range doesn’t just step into the gap between the exciting X-78 and the innovative, award-winning X-105, it serves as a bridge between them, drawing on the performance and nimble handling of her smaller sibling while borrowing the big-boat features and genius design solution ethos of her big sister.

The result is a sleek 29-metre, all-aluminium widebody yacht that offers performance of up to 24 knots, range of 1,800 nautical miles at 15 knots, an enclosed aft garage that can take a huge 6-metre tender, and a stunning raised pilothouse design that offers acres of exterior living space and vast interior volumes.

“We believe the X-95 is something really special,” Bernd Weel comments.

“One of the main focuses right from the start was to create a lot of exterior space for outdoor living, but at the same time maximising interior space for a full five-cabin layout.

“We also really wanted to design the yacht to be optimised for potential charter, so the integration of captain and crew has been paramount in the design.”

The result has to be seen to be believed. A huge main deck saloon leads forward to a luxurious main deck master suite complete with its own private foredeck terrace. There are four generous ensuite double guest cabins below, along with well-sized crew quarters.

Outside, the yawning sweep of the main deck cockpit stretches from alfresco dining forward under the shade of the sundeck overhang, to a large lounging area and a large aft sunpad.

Up top, the aft sundeck can be specified according to a client’s every indulgence – including a spa pool – while a forward upper section offers a bar and seating area under the hardtop and a fully equipped forward fly helm.

The X-95 is also being built to last – her twin-shaft drivetrain is proven and reliable, and she will sport an IMO Tier III-compliant exhaust treatment system. She will also be built to Class rather than to CE standard.

“The Xtreme range may be very new – and the X-95 the newest of those – but Holterman is not,” says Robbert Holterman, CEO at Holterman Shipyard.

“We wanted to create the perfect 29-metre yacht both for cruising and for charter – the X-95 needed to have it all, so we’ve included all the features of a superyacht in a 29-metre, fast-displacement aluminium design.

“The X-95 really is the culmination of everything we have done and everything we have learnt over six decades of building exceptional yachts.”
