Ribco, one of the most well-respected Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) brands throughout the Mediterranean, is now available to the Australian and New Zealand market through Ribco Australia.

Ribco was founded in 1994 in Athens, Greece, by Stelios Ladopoulos, with a goal to take RIB design to new heights by pushing the design boundaries and applying a passion for performance boating and the sea into every element of each model produced.

Each Ribco vessel is a culmination of more than two decades of design, engineering and testing in the toughest possible conditions to ensure thousands of miles of faultless operation at sea. Meticulous detail and craftsmanship flow from bow to stern, highlighting Ribco’s unwavering commitment to quality.

Focused on being at the forefront of the ever-growing trend towards larger more versatile Rigid Hull Inflatable vessels, Ribco offers vessels in the Maxi RIB category from 9-metres through to 14-metres – from superyacht tender to luxury day-boat and offshore performance machine.

“With the growth in popularity of larger RIBs in Australia it is clear that Ribco is perfectly positioned to enter the local market as the most seaworthy, well-built luxury, performance RIB available today”, said Oliver Workman, Ribco Australia.

“Having conducted numerous extensive sea trials to test the quality and handling of every model, there is no other manufacturer that can compare. Every Ribco vessel is built with passion and craftsmanship by a team of experts that take immense pride in the work they do and this clearly shows in the finish of each Ribco leaving the factory”.

Ribco Australia’s base will be at the Sydney Superyacht Marina in Rozelle.

The Ribco range currently covers vessels from 9 through to the 14-metre, 1200 horsepower Venom, with an 18-metre vessel currently in development.

Ribco Australia is a partly owned subsidiary of Ribco Greece, an extension of the factory and head office, which provides significant support for clients and their boats and makes it easier for them to access new models in advance of other markets where agency models are in place. Australia is becoming a focus for the brand and Ribco expects Australia to embrace the brand.
