The construction of the first OTAM 90 GTS – a new model and the largest in its Fast and Iconic line-up – is under way at its shipyard in Genoa.

Her passionate owner selected OTAM because he knew the brand could deliver on his request for something special; a fast yet spacious yacht able to accommodate a large number of guests in absolute comfort to join his existing fleet of vessels as a luxurious day boat.

“Because our boats are often used as chase boats for larger vessels, our clients are looking to approach a medium-sized yacht with the same level of freedom of customisation that you’d normally find on a superyacht,” says Matteo Belardinelli, OTAM Commercial Director.

“We’ve integrated that big boat mentality into a yacht of under 24 metres at the loadline with all the associated advantages in terms of manning and maintenance.”

In fact, the new OTAM 90 GTS is available with opening hard top or soft top, full or half-height side windows, with or without a side passage door, and a single or double hull window for the master suite amidships.

More than mere options, these features require structural, engineering and design modifications to meet or exceed client expectations.

The OTAM 90 GTS conforms with the brand’s mission to build dynamic, high-performance yachts that exude timeless style and are tailored to each owner’s personal requirements.

“Large series production drives you towards certain production processes, but that’s not us,” says Belardinelli.

“We are craftspeople and even though we compete in the same market, we consider ourselves to be artisans first and boatbuilders second.”

OTAM, the abbreviation of Organizzazione Tigullio Assistenza Motoscafi is one of the first Maintenance Yard in Liguria, founded in 1954. The shipyard is the first authorised Riva Yacht Service Centre for the Mediterranean Sea.
